In just 20 minutes, you will get panoramic views of deep fjords, sparkling glacial lakes and dramatic mountain formations. From Nordfjord to Jostedalsbreen The trip begins with a climb over beautiful Nordfjord before flying into Oldendalen and Klovane. We then cross the valley and head towards the mighty Jostedalsbreen – Europe’s largest mainland glacier. History and nature – from Ramnefjellet to Lovatnet We pass Ramnefjellet, known for the tragic tsunamis of 1905 and 1936, and continue over the iconic Lovatnet – with its characteristic turquoise water. We end with a gentle descent towards Loen and land safely at Tyvaneset. Short, exclusive and unforgettable This helicopter tour takes you through parts of Jostedalsbreen National Park and is flown at a minimum altitude of 1000 feet. Loen Adventure (30 min)

About the Tour: Experience even more of Europe's largest mainland glacier, fjords and mountains. The tour lasts 30 minutes. Experience more of what the area has to offer! From Oldendalen to Briksdalsbreen and Kjenndalen The trip starts from Tyvaneset and heads south across the fjord and into beautiful Oldendalen. Below us, Oldenvatnet sparkles, and on both sides looms Jostedalsbreen. We fly up to the iconic Briksdalsbreen – one of Norway’s most famous glacier arms. We then pass Kjenndalsbreen and get a unique view of the area that was hit by two major landslides in 1905 and 1936. Lodalskåpa, Skålabreen and Lovatnet We round the majestic Lodalskåpa (2083 m) and fly towards Tindedalsbreen and Skålabreen, with Skåla Tower towering above the mountains. The trip ends with a beautiful glide down towards Lovatnet and along the south side of Loen before landing. A rich nature experience – in just 30 minutes Loen Adventure offers you magnificent nature experiences, iconic glaciers and deep valleys – all seen from the air. Then the Loen Experience is the ultimate helicopter tour for you. A 60-minute expedition over sparkling fjords, majestic mountains and iconic landmarks such as Briksdalsbreen, Dalsnibba and Trollveggen. From Lovatnet to Geiranger and the Sunnmøre Alps The tour starts from Tyvaneset and goes over beautiful Lovatnet and Skålatårnet, on towards Oppstrynsvatnet and idyllic Hjelle. From there we ascend into the mountains via the Strynefjell Tunnels and continue north to the Dalsnibba viewpoint over the Geirangerfjord. We glide down towards the fjord, passing waterfalls, mountain farms and the dramatic landscape that has made Geiranger world-famous. We then follow the fjord north towards the Sunnmøre Alps and Åndalsnes. Trollveggen, Tafjord and Jostedalsbreen At the entrance to Romsdalen we sweep past the iconic Trollveggen – Europe’s highest vertical rock face. We continue south towards Tafjord and fly back towards Jostedalsbreen with spectacular views of Stryn Sommerski and Lodalskåpa (2083 m) – the region’s highest peak. The tour ends with highlights such as Kjenndalsbreen and Briksdalsbreen, before we glide gently down Oldedalen and Oldevatnet with views of Klovane and Sisiliekruna. We land back at Tyvaneset – rich in memories and magical impressions. Large parts of the route pass through Jostedalsbreen National Park. Minimum altitude: 1000 feet. Explore the entire region – from Briksdalsbreen, Oppstryn, to Stryn and Loen Skylift Loen Explorer is our most comprehensive helicopter tour – a 45-minute nature experience where you get to experience the very best of Western Norway. Fly over spectacular glaciers, deep valleys and idyllic fjord landscapes – all from a bird's eye view. Briksdalsbreen, Kjenndalen and Lodalskåpa We take off from Tyvaneset and fly south through Oldedalen, with Jostedalsbreen on both sides and Oldenvatnet below us. We visit Briksdalsbreen and continue to Kjenndalsbreen, with views of the dramatic landslide areas from 1905 and 1936. We then round the mighty Lodalskåpa (2083 m). Across Erdalen to Oppstryn and Stryn The trip continues north with views of Erdalsbreen glacier and through scenic Erdalen. We pass idyllic Hjelle and the historic Hjelle Hotel, before flying over Oppstrynsvatnet and the winding Stryne River towards Stryn city center. Skålatårnet, Lovatnet and ending over Loen We pass the Skylift gondola and the Skålatårnet before gliding down towards the turquoise Lovatnet Lake and returning via the center of Loen to landing at Tyvaneset. Briksdalsbreen, Kjenndalen and Lodalskåpa The trip starts from Tyvaneset and goes south into Oldedalen with Oldenvatnet below us and Jostedalsbreen on both sides. We fly up towards Briksdalsbreen and continue to Kjenndalsbreen, with views of the landslide areas from 1905 and 1936. From here we round Lodalskåpa (2083 m) and continue towards Stryn Sommerskisenter in Videdalen. Geiranger, Dalsnibba and the waterfalls We head towards the Dalsnibba viewpoint before gliding down into the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord – one of Norway’s most iconic landscapes. We fly past the Seven Sisters waterfalls, Friaren and remote mountain farms clinging to the mountainside. Åkerneset, Slogen and back towards Loen We follow the Sunnylvsfjord towards the geologically monitored landslide area Åkerneset, before flying west with panoramic views towards the Sunnmøre Alps. At Slogen (1564 m above sea level) we turn south and pass the mountain Jakta and Nibbedalen. We finish with a beautiful view of Stryn city center, Skålatårnet and the beautiful Lovatnet lake before landing at Tyvaneset. An entire journey – in one trip This 60-minute tour combines fjords, glaciers, waterfalls and high mountains – a complete aerial travel experience.
