90 Minutes of Epic Fjords, Glaciers and Mountain Legends
Departing directly from the shores of Geirangerfjord, this tour gives you absolutely everything the region is known for – waterfalls, glaciers, dramatic mountain passes and Norway's most legendary cliffs.
We climb out of the fjord surrounded by waterfalls like the Seven Sisters, Friaren and Bridal Veil, while spotting historic mountain farms clinging to the steep hillsides. From the famous Åkerneset mountainside – constantly monitored by geologists – we follow the fjord out and set course north along the Sunnmøre Alps towards the legendary Romsdal region.
Soon, the mighty Trollveggen (Troll Wall) appears ahead: Northern Europe's tallest vertical cliff, dark and dramatic. We take a slow pass by this iconic wall – a must-see for any visitor to Norway.
Turning southward, the landscape transforms. We glide over lush valleys towards Tafjord, and continue deeper into fjordland. Passing over Stryn Summer Ski and the towering Lodalskåpa (2083 meters), we aim for the heart of Jostedalsbreen – Europe's largest mainland glacier.
Sweeping over the shimmering Kjenndalsbreen and Briksdalsbreen glacier arms, the landscape opens up into the turquoise waters of Lovatnet and Oldevatnet. We follow the Olden valley, with its steep peaks and rolling farms, before passing close to the Loen Skylift and the iconic Skålatårnet mountain tower.
Finally, after a journey across waterfalls, glaciers, cliffs and lakes, we descend gently back into Geiranger – filled with memories, photos and sky-high perspectives.
This tour is the perfect choice if you want to experience it all from Geiranger – a true highlight reel of western Norway in just 90 unforgettable minutes.
This tour is available as a private flight only. The price is fixed and covers the entire helicopter – you may bring up to 7 passengers (maximum 110 kg per person / 540 kg per group).
We do offer shared tours, but as these require a minimum of 5 passengers per booking, we cannot guarantee that the flight will take place - See our shared flights here.

Practical information
- Please note: You are choosing a preferred timeslot, the exact starting time might variate throughout the day. We will confirm the starting time shortly after you complete the booking.
- Please arrive 15min early to your location.
- You will most likely enter the helicopter as the rotor blade is spinning. Please hold on to all loose belongings.
