About the Tour:

Glaicer Experience is the complete tour for the entire area if you want to see everything from mountains, fjord landscapes and glaciers. From Olden to Geiranger and the Sunnmore Alps to Ảndalsnes. The tour lasts 90 minutes.

Experience the best that Western Norway has to offer – from fjords and waterfalls to glaciers, alpine peaks and national icons – all on one spectacular flight!

The tour starts from Stryn base, where we climb out of the fjord and head east over Lovatnet with views of the majestic mountains. We round the iconic Skålatårnet before quickly turning over the mountain and down towards Oppstrynsvatnet and idyllic Hjelle.

From here we continue into the mountains, over the Strynefjell Tunnels and further north towards Dalsnibba, which towers high abovet he Geirangerfjord. We glide down towards the fjord, see The Seven Sisters, remote mountain farms and the powerful nature around Geiranger - an experience you will not soon forget.

After Geiranger we fly north, along the eastern side of the Sunnmøre Alps, heading towards the dramatic landscape of Romsdalen. Here we get up close to Trollveggen– Europe’s highest vertical rock wall – a spectacular and almost mythical sight.

We then turn south towards Tafjord and continue into the heart of the glacier country with views of Stryn Sommerski and the towering Lodalskåpa (2,083 m)– the region's highest mountain.

We then fly over Jostedalsbreen, enjoying panoramic views of Kjenndalsbreen and Briksdalsbreen, two of Norway's most famous glacier arms. We then glide north over Oldedalen and Oldevatnet, framed by the mountains Klovane and Sisiliekruna, before ending the trip with a smooth landing back at Stryn heliport.

This tour is available as a private flight only. The price is fixed and covers the entire helicopter – you may bring up to 7 passengers (maximum 110 kg per person / 540 kg per group).
