From Oldendalen to Briksdalsbreen and Kjenndalen
The trip starts from Tyvaneset and heads south across the fjord and into beautiful Oldendalen. Below us, Oldenvatnet sparkles, and on both sides looms Jostedalsbreen. We fly up to the iconic Briksdalsbreen – one of Norway’s most famous glacier arms.
We then pass Kjenndalsbreen and get a unique view of the area that was hit by two major landslides in 1905 and 1936.
Lodalskåpa, Skålabreen and Lovatnet
We round the majestic Lodalskåpa (2083 m) and fly towards Tindedalsbreen and Skålabreen, with Skåla Tower towering above the mountains. The trip ends with a beautiful glide down towards Lovatnet and along the south side of Loen before landing.
A rich nature experience – in just 30 minutes
Loen Adventure offers you magnificent nature experiences, iconic glaciers and deep valleys – all seen from the air. Much of the trip takes place in Jostedalsbreen National Park, with a minimum altitude of 1000 feet.
This tour is available as a private flight only. The price is fixed and covers the entire helicopter – you may bring up to 7 passengers (maximum 110 kg per person / 540 kg per group).
