Olden Valley, Jostedalsbreen and the most famous glacier arms. The tour lasts 60. We take off from Løkjaneset helipad in Nordfjordeid and head east into Gloppefjorden. The helicopter climbs steadily towards the mighty Jostedalsbreen glacier – Europe’s largest mainland glacier. From the air you really get an impression of its dimensions: up to 600 meters thick, and over 800 square kilometers including the glacier arms. We continue south into Oldedalen, where turquoise lakes and green slopes form a beautiful contrast to the glacial landscape. Here we get up close to famous glacier arms such as Briksdalsbreen, and weather permitting, we cross over the glacier towards the mountain giant Lodalskåpa (2,083 m) and the alpine mountain areaHurrungane– a favorite among mountaineers and hiking enthusiasts. The hike continues towards Kjenndalsbreen and the iconic hiking destination Skålatårnet before turning north towards Stryn. Here we get views of the winding Stryne River, which cuts through the valley before flowing into Nordfjord. On the way back we fly west and see Hornindalsvatnet shimmering deep below us – Europe’s deepest lake at 514 metres. We then glide gently down towards Nordfjordeid with panoramic views of mountains, fjord and countryside – before landing safely back at Løkjaneset, full of memories and wow moments. Parts of the trip go through national park with a minimum elevation of 1,000 feet. This tour is available as a private flight only. The price is fixed and covers the entire helicopter – you may bring up to 7 passengers (maximum 110 kg per person / 540 kg per group). Nordfjordeid Experience (90 min)

About the Tour: Glaicer Experience is the complete tour for the entire area if you want to see everything from mountains, fjord landscapes and glaciers. From Olden to Geiranger and the Sunnmore Alps to Andalsnes. The tour lasts 90. Experience the very best that Western Norway has to offer – with a helicopter tour from beautiful Nordfjordeid! From the first second you get panoramic views of fjords, waterfalls, glaciers and iconic mountain peaks. This is a journey you will never forget. We take off from Løkjaneset and head east into Gloppefjorden, where we ascend towards the mighty Jostedalsbreen – Europe’s largest mainland glacier. Here you really get a sense of the enormous power of nature, with glaciers up to 600 meters thick and over 800 km² of ice-covered mountain areas. The trip continues south through beautiful Oldedalen, where Briksdalsbreenawaits – one of Norway’s most famous and photographed glaciers. Weather permitting, we cross the glacier and get views of the legendary Lodalskåpa and the dramatic peaks of Hurrungane – the mountain area considered the crown jewel of Norwegian alpine climbing. We continue towards Kjenndalsbreen glacier and pass the spectacular Skålatårnet, before turning north towards Dalsnibba, the viewpoint high above the Geirangerfjord. We then glide down through the valley and get up close to the world-famousSeven Sisters waterfalls and remote mountain farms – places where you would hardly believe anyone has ever lived. We fly further out the fjord towards Øye and the iconic Slogen, which rises 1564 meters straight up from the fjord – a sight you will never forget. On our way back towards Nordfjordeid, we pass Hornindalsvatnet, Europe's deepest lake at 514 meters, before landing safely at Løkjaneset - with our hearts full of impressions and our cameras full of memories. Nordfjordeid Explorer ( 45 min)

About the Tour: With Glacier Explorer you get to experience more of Jostadalsbreen and Stryn. The trip lasts 45. We take off from Nordfjordeid and ascend over the beautiful Eidfjord, with views of mountains and fjord landscapes in all directions. After takeoff, we turn south and cross Nordfjord, before heading west. The view opens up to the sea and Norway's westernmost point. Right in front of us rises Hornelen – Europe's highest sea cliff – an 860-meter-high, vertical rock wall that rises dramatically straight up from the fjord. A mighty sight! We continue east over Hornelen and head towards Ålfotbreen, which is located in one of Norway's rainiest areas. Weather permitting, we fly over the glacier itself before gliding down towards Hyefjorden on the east side. The trip then heads north, where we take a wide turn with views of Hornindalsvatnet – Europe's deepest lake at 514 meters. On the last part of the trip, we slowly descend towards Eid again, landing at Løkjaneset, with our camera full of memories. Parts of the trip go through national parks with a minimum flight altitude of 1000 feet. This tour is available as a private flight only.
