Glacier Signature is our most spectacular helicopter tour – a comprehensive nature experience where you will see everything from glaciers and fjords to wild waterfalls and jagged mountain peaks. Perfect for those who want to experience the very best the region has to offer – from the air.

Briksdalsbreen, Kjenndalen and Lodalskåpa

The trip starts from Tyvaneset and goes south into Oldedalen with Oldenvatnet below us and Jostedalsbreen on both sides. We fly up towards Briksdalsbreen and continue to Kjenndalsbreen, with views of the landslide areas from 1905 and 1936. From here we round Lodalskåpa (2083 m) and continue towards Stryn Sommerskisenter in Videdalen.

Geiranger, Dalsnibba and the waterfalls

We head towards the Dalsnibba viewpoint before gliding down into the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord – one of Norway’s most iconic landscapes. We fly past the Seven Sisters waterfalls, Friaren and remote mountain farms clinging to the mountainside.

Åkerneset, Slogen and back towards Loen

We follow the Sunnylvsfjord towards the geologically monitored landslide area Åkerneset, before flying west with panoramic views towards the Sunnmøre Alps. At Slogen (1564 m above sea level) we turn south and pass the mountain Jakta and Nibbedalen. We finish with a beautiful view of Stryn city center, Skålatårnet and the beautiful Lovatnet lake before landing at Tyvaneset.

An entire journey – in one trip

This 60-minute tour combines fjords, glaciers, waterfalls and high mountains – a complete aerial travel experience. Much of the tour takes place in the national park, with a minimum permitted flight altitude of 1,000 feet.

This tour is available as a private flight only. The price is fixed and covers the entire helicopter – you may bring up to 7 passengers (maximum 110 kg per person / 540 kg per group).
